- Scott (Owner of Next Level Pet Resort, LLC) Worked for over 20 years in Fire Rescue in New York, obtaining the rank of Chief Paramedic, FP-C. Specializing in Tactical Operations (SWAT), Flight Rescue, Education and Leadership. Having earned two degrees in Business Management and Emergency Management with a certification in Paramedicine, he also receiving countless hours of education through state, local, and FEMA officials.
- Scott began working with the K9’s and found a new passion for teaching and dog training. In 2010 Next Level Pet Resort was Born. The primary goal was to raise and train German Shepherds to the highest quality and standards possible for police and military service.
- In 2019 Scott was able to transition this hobby into a highly functioning business model, purchasing a large 7,000 sqft facility in Henderson NC. Today it is thriving, and along with Next Level Pet Resort Pet Resorts, Scott also owns Next Level Pet Resort Special Operations Group. They operate as a private contracting group working Narcotic, Explosive, and Protection dogs in a variety of settings.

- Yes. Our groomers are highly experienced and able to work with a wide range of dogs, including those who are anxious, nervous, or more challenging to handle.
- Master groomer Sara is trained and certified in Fear Free grooming, which focuses on reducing stress and creating a calm, positive experience for each dog. We take a patient, individualized approach to ensure your pet feels as comfortable and safe as possible.
- For the safety of all pets in our care, we require all dogs to be up to date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella.
- We may also recommend additional vaccines based on your dog’s lifestyle and participation in services such as daycare or group play. Proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian is required prior to your dog’s stay.

- Yes. Our team is trained and certified through PackPro in pet first aid and emergency procedures. We prioritize safety at every level and ensure our staff is prepared to respond quickly and appropriately in any situation.
- Yes. Staff live on site, so there is always someone present to monitor the facility and care for the dogs overnight. This provides an added level of safety, security, and peace of mind for our clients.
- Yes. We offer photo and update options as add on services so you can stay connected while your dog is with us.
- We also offer professional pet photography sessions that can be booked during your dog’s stay, giving you high quality photos to remember their time with us.
- For safety and comfort, boarding dogs are kept separate and are not co-mingled with other dogs. The only exception is dogs from the same household, and only with owner approval.
- For daycare, dogs are placed into small, structured, and carefully supervised playgroups based on size, temperament, and play style to ensure safe and appropriate interactions.
- We prioritize a controlled and well managed environment so every dog has a safe and positive experience.
- Our hours vary by service:
- Boarding drop off and pick up hours
- – Monday through Friday: 8am to 5pm
- – Saturday: 8am to 3pm
- – Sunday: 4pm to 5pm
- Daycare hours
- – Monday through Saturday: 7:30am to 6pm
- We are closed for drop off and pick up on some major holidays.
- All drop off and pick up must occur within these scheduled hours.
- Please bring your dog’s food pre portioned into individual meals in sealed bags or containers. This helps us keep feeding consistent and ensures your dog stays on their normal routine.
- If your dog requires medication, it must be in a veterinary prescribed container with clear instructions.
- We do not allow outside beds or blankets to be brought from home. We can provide blankets for dogs that are appropriate for bedding, however we are not responsible for any bedding that is chewed or ingested.
